Obituaries

The death of Georgette Marie Arsenault of Bridgeview Hall and formerly of Baie Ste. Anne, NB, occurred on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the age of 100. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, NB, she was the daughter of the late Damas and Marie (Theriault) Arsenault. Georgette was a caregiver/maid for many families in the Miramichi area.
Georgette is survived by sisters: Blandine Savoie of Robertville, NB; Jeanne Savoie of Baie Ste. Anne, NB; nieces: Paulette Edwards and Francine Aube; two nephews: Jacques Daigle and Yves Daigle.
Besides her parents, Georgette is predeceased by brothers: Rene, Omer, Claude, Otis and Odilon and nephew: Jules Daigle.
There will be no visitation a public Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Ste. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church, BaieSte. Anne, NB on Monday at 2 PM with Father Joseph Thuong, C.Ss.R. officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery later in the spring.

The family are very thankful and grateful for the wonderful staff at Bridgeview Hall who showed Georgette so much kindness and compassion during her stay.
