Obituaries

Henrietta Hubbard, wife of William “Jr” Hubbard of 55 years, passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side on March 15, 2023. Born in Newcastle, NB, she was the daughter of the late Cyril “Mac” & Emma Woods.
Greatly missed by daughters Tracey (Ed) and Amy (Danie) as well as Grandson Billy (Megan) and Granddaughters Grace, Lexy and Gaby. In addition to her sisters-in-law Donna Goodfellow (Dwight) and Doris Carruthers (Andy). In addition she will also be missed by nieces Leanne Pyne (Ray), Andrea Goodfellow (Steve) and nephews Jacob Woods (Josee) and Dustin Goodfellow.
Besides her parents she is predeceased by infant son Wesley MacNeil and her only brother Richard Woods, father-in-law Wesley Hubbard, mother-in-law Ruth Hubbard and brother-in-law Freddie Hubbard.
Henrietta was the lovingly devoted heart of her family who delighted in preparing and serving delicious meals to her family, most especially, at Christmas – her favorite time of the year. Prior to retirement she was employed as a Religious Education Coordinator for the Diocese of St. John.
In keeping with Henrietta’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the SPCA - Miramichi would be appreciated by the family.
