Obituaries

Diana Grace Delphine (Washburn) Jensen of Fredericton, NB, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at the Bridgeview Hall at the age of 81. Diane was born in Blackville, NB on October 29, 1941, daughter of the late Thomas and Dorothy (Mountain) Washburn.
Diane is survived by her sister, Betty, Eastbourne,England, brothers, Irl, Allan (Karen), Miramichi, NB,  Albert Sturgeon (Helen) Doaktown,NB sister in laws; Loretta, Oromocto, NB, Sharron, Tampa Florida, longtime companion Lloyd Lyons, Doaktown, NB, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by her daughter, Jana Diana, son, Jason Barry, brothers, LeRoy and Tom, grandparents, Bartlett, and Theresa (Bowes) Washburn and Harvey and Grace (Underhill) Mountain.
Diane was an avid skier who loved Crabbe Mtn and also loved to golf and curl as a member of Capital Winter Club. Her big smile and always ready for some fun led to a large circle of close friends.
By request there will be no visitation. A graveside and interment for Diana will be held at St. Raphael's Catholic Cemetery on Thursday, Aug. 24,2023 at 1 PM.
