Obituaries

The death of Leonard Edward McCluskey, husband of Betty Anne (McDonald) McCluskey of Miramichi, NB occurred on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the Miramichi Hospital at the age of 89. Born in Saint John, NB, he was the son of the late Charles and Susie (Mason) McCluskey. Leonard retired from Repap where he worked as an Instrumentation Tech.
Besides his wife, Leonard is survived by daughters: Pamela and Lizabeth; stepchildren: Margie, Joseph, Jamie and Tammy; grandchildren: Derrick, Dakota, Pamela; one niece, one nephew, 12 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, special great grandchild: Britten; special friends: Dana and Mary Ann Matchett, Carmel Lee, Ambrose MacDonald and Pamela Warren.
Besides his parents, Leonard is predeceased by his first wife: Hermance (King) McCluskey; sons: Leonard and Allan and brother: Charles Jr.
The family will receive visitors at Boom Road Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, September 13, 2023 from 12-1:45 PM followed by the funeral service at 2 PM with Pastor Jody Holmes officiating.
