Obituaries

The death of Ceporah Anne Kilabuk common-in-law partner of Paul Estey of Sunny Corner, NB, occurred on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at her residence at the age of 48. Born in Pangnirtung, Baffin Island, she is the adopted daughter of Adam and the late Orly Kilabuk. Ceporah worked at Sunny Burger in Sunny Corner and enjoyed sewing, going to the camp, participating in outdoor activities and watching TV. Her dog, Libby and cats Patches and Zeus were very special to her.
Besides her partner, Ceporah is survived by children: Jordon (Melissa) and Katlin; grandchildren: Jaede, Jackson, John and Kaitlin; siblings: Seepa Nowdlak, Simo, Billy, Andrew, Jimmy M. Kilabuk; her biological family: mother: Eena Kudlualik, siblings: Lucy, David, Robbie, Anne and Simionie; father of her children: Jay Mullin; Paul’s family: George (Sally), Hector (Lynn), Marilyn and John (Martine) as well as many nieces and nephews.
Ceporah is predeceased by biological father: Livee Kudlualik; son: Jackson and sister: Krista Kudlualik.
The family will receive visitors at Boom Road Pentecostal Church, Boom Road on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, from 12-1:45 followed by the funeral service at 2 PM with Pastor Jody Holmes officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
